The passion, or the primary focus, of my art is to capture the story--turning these stories into something that connects to a special memory, event, or moment that makes those lives of the story teller become real. My work can best be described as creating landscapes with a special memory and story. The work can be a walk down a garden pathway, an old home place, a beloved animal or wildlife, a court house/town square, a dawn of a growing city, a church with stained glass windows, or simply a child's swing hanging from an old tree. Each painting connects to something special about these families and communities that create a basis to tell a story and keep those wonderful memories alive.

My work has been displayed in galleries, libraries, public buildings, magazines, and art shows all over Texas and the U.S., but most of the work is in the homes of where the heart of the stories reside.
